Hot dog fans are still waiting for an emoji of their relished food item, and Oscar Mayer wants to do something about it.
On Monday, Unicode released a list of over 250 new pictographs destined to be added to the emoji keyboard. While a wide array of additions are coming to everyone's smartphones, including the highly anticipated middle finger emoji, that favorite summertime snack is still nowhere to be found.
A popular petition, started by Chicago based drive-in restaurant Superdawg, to add a hot dog emoji (specifically without ketchup) to the keyboard.
