Nearly 50 percent of Americans do not think Twitter is a good investment, while more than 40 percent of Twitter users have seen promoted content on the micro-blogging platform and most of these users dawdle rather than actively tweet. In addition, less than 50 percent of Americans say that Twitter will find success in the next five years.
