The anarchic website 4Chan appears to have been making a few changes since a still-unknown hacker posted stolen celebrity snapshots there this weekend — and users aren't happy about it.
Founded in 2003 by New York entrepreneur Christopher Poole, known to the site as "moot", 4Chan is most infamous on the Internet for its random message board, known simply as /b. This is where users post imagery intended to shock, and plot mass trolling escapades that invariably spin out of control — in other words, the ideal environment for a federal crime like the one the FBI is currently investigating.
