Facebook announced the milestone alongside its Q1 earnings on Wednesday, reporting record totals for profits and active users as well. Facebook's monthly active user total is now at 1.28 billion worldwide, and has increased every quarter since the company went public in 2012
Facebook reported $2.5 billion in revenue, a 72% increase over revenues from Q1 2013.
