If you haven't sent a handwritten thank-you letter to a service member since grade school, a new digital initiative will help you change that — with social media.
For Military Appreciation Month, KIND Snacks has partnered with robot-printing tech startup Bond to transform your thank-you tweet to a U.S. military member or veteran into a personal, handwritten note. Bond's handwriting robots will transcribe any military thank you with the hashtag #thankskindly.
"We're excited to get these notes into the much-needed hands of veterans and soldiers," Dana Rosenberg, director of the KIND Movement, told Mashable. Rosenberg heads KIND's philanthropic efforts, through which the company "really look to find ways to make people realize how good and easy it feels to be kind, whether it's through small kind acts or big kind acts," she said.
